I really like the personal way About Face Fitness is able to help with my weight loss and the program we’ve designed uniquely for me. AFF really cares about my body health and activities. They are actively involved in the day to day and week to week gains / losses. They have helped to motivate me in ways that I can easily understand. I am a newbie when it comes to real health and wellness but I have been on yo-yo diets, fad diets, low carb diets, and nothing has worked for me. I get to speak with my coach one on one and get involved in helping myself achieve my goals in a healthy way. Scott helped me with the weightlifting workouts even though I’ve been extremely nervous about them. About Face Fitness has been able to explain each exercise and the benefits of using them. My favorite thing is that the workouts are for my personal benefit and gives me multiple ways of getting to my goal. Scott explains in detail the benefits or negatives when I have questions or personal issues that may arise. About Face Fitness is for the person who is wanting to lose weight and keep it off for good.

I am an over 50 U.S. Army retiree who served in Special Operations Forces. I have been diagnosed with multiple physical issues that limit my ability to walk, run, stand, etc., which has added to my weight gain. When heard about About Face Fitness, I thought, “What do I have to lose?” The program showed me some things about my health that I was not tracking. I was not consuming enough protein or calories, and my sleep schedule was terrible.
In discussing my concerns with AFF and my lack of progress doing it on my own, Scott recommended I see my primary care provider. I followed his advice and got blood work done. To my surprise, my estrogen levels were very high, and my testosterone level was low. So, I got on a medical regime to correct that.
I improved my heart rate, blood pressure, and cholesterol by paying attention to my calorie and protein intake, improving my sleep schedule, and changing my workouts to low impact. I have what my primary care refers to as perfect blood pressure, my heart rate is 59 BPM, and I no longer take medication to help control my blood pressure. My A1C is good, 5.3, which means I do not have diabetes. In addition, my muscle tone is better.
About Face Fitness was a good assessment of my health. I am somewhat broken but want to enjoy the remaining years of my life. As a result of About Face Fitness and Scott making himself available to hear my concerns, I have made significant progress in my health.
Thank you, Scott, for caring enough to help save my life.
